So I want to explain the options on the exam mechanics. So the full reset on failed exam is something that many clients don't allow, meaning that you failed the attempt they allowed you and you're not gonna reset it post failing. In your case, I don't know if you want to allow that, but that's something that many don't allow. The allow reset before submission, this is when you've answered a couple questions but you're iffy and you just want a fresh start. Again, it's up to the admin to decide how he wants to handle that. And then the allow reset post submission. So this one is when they've already submitted the exam, it's been scored, but for instance, you scored a 71. And it's a passing grade, but it's not your greatest. So do you allow them to try to go higher? That's what this one is. And then the user review session mechanics for failed exam. Okay, now for the last one, the user review session mechanics for failed exam resets. I set up a course. I actually set up an exam with that setting on, right? So then I failed my exam. And now this is what you see. Right? So now that I failed it, I have to start the review session. And basically, it's going to go through the questions that I failed. Let me see. So, oh, I got that one right by accident. I don't know what these answers should be. I'm just going to say, okay, so this one is wrong. So it's basically taking the exam, but getting instant responses for it, along with the correct answers. So, again, I don't know any of these. So I'm just guessing. But I want to show you what happens at the end. So I'm going to answer the 14, and then I'll start recording again. All right. So I answered all 20 questions. And now either I could review the exam or retake it. But now I've been shown the answers. So according to this, it thinks that I'm going to have a better chance of answering them. See? So it resets them. And look at that. Now it's the real exam again. But I'm going to fail this anyway. So I'm just going to answer the answer C. And basically, it's like a way of them getting the practice test before submitting the rest of the 20. Because I scored myself with a 60%. So out of the 50 questions, only, you know, got 20 wrong. So this thing thinks that I need to retake these 20 until I pass. So this kind of doesn't let me fail, if you know what I mean. Because it gives me the remediation with the practice one. And then you notice that I can't get past this until I score a minimum of a 70. So this is the review session again. See? Since I took the real exam, the mini 20 question exam, and it does the questions again with the remediation, just so that I could remember these and answer them correctly on the next round. Let me know if this makes sense. Thanks.
Video Summary
The video transcript discusses the different options available for exam mechanics, including full reset on failure (often not allowed by clients), allowing resets before submission or after scoring, and user review sessions for failed exams. The user demonstrates a review session where they receive instant feedback on incorrect answers and are given the opportunity to retake questions until passing. This process helps users practice and improve their scores before final submission. The goal is to ensure users understand the material and pass the exam with a minimum score requirement.
